On May 9, 2009 CNS Network attended the Alzheimer’s Resource Fair in Westlake Village. The day was filled with beneficial information about Alzheimer’s disease. Each booth had specialized information on Alzheimer’s, such as caregiver support groups, legal questions, financial issues, assisted living care, and research and treatments. There were speakers who gave important information from the Alzheimer’s Association along with Law Enforcement agents who gave tips on missing Alzheimer’s patients. The community outreach team was able to inform caregivers as well as concerned citizens on exciting new therapies for Alzheimer’s disease.
