The Long Beach Health and Human Services department sponsored a day for Mental Health Wellness on May 9, 2009, titled “Healthy Mind, Healthy Body”. The purpose for the event was to combine physical and mental health awareness by showing resources and other agencies available to the Long Beach community.  Along side mental health associations and clinics were aerobic instructors giving free tips to live a healthy life. The outreach team was able to offer information about clinical trials for psychiatric conditions that CNS Network has specialized in for over 8 years, such as Bipolar, Schizophrenia, and Depression.
