Jack Stephens, MA
President
Mr. Stephens earned his Master of Arts in Clinical Psychology from Pepperdine University. He has held several upper management positions with behavioral health organizations including 12 years with Psychiatric Management Resources where he left as Senior Vice President of Operations. Currently, Mr. Stephens is responsible for community outreach and education, as well as performing clinical rating scales for many of CNS Network’s clinical trials.
Dalia Botros, MBBS
Clinical Research Site Manager
Ms. Botros attended the Alexandria University School of Medicine in Egypt, where she was a General Physician as well as an Obstetrician/Gynecologist. She is currently the Clinical Research Site Manager in Torrance, CA. Prior to CNS Network, she was a clinical research coordinator for multiple phase I-IV dermatology clinical trials. She has also been an assistant research director where she supervised research coordinators, ensuring studies were conducted in compliance with FDA regulations and ICH guidelines. Ms. Botros has published numerous clinical studies and poster presentations, and has been a guest speaker for a variety of pharmaceutical companies.
Sandra Scott, LPT
Senior Training Coordinator
Sandra Scott is a Licensed Psychiatric Technician who has been with CNS Network since 2001. Previously, she was Senior Study Coordinator where she was responsible for the coordination of multiple phase II-IV clinical trials. She is currently the Senior Training Coordinator responsible for general staff orientation and ongoing training of staff related to job roles, responsibilities, competencies, and standard operating policies and procedures. In addition, Ms. Scott coordinates with various department supervisors and Quality Assurance staff to identify ongoing training needs and she supervises the CNS Network Investigational Drug Management Department.
Cat Hoffman, BA
Inpatient Coordinator
Ms. Hoffman earned her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio. Prior to working with CNS Network, she was a research assistant at Miami University, as well as a probation officer for Cuyahoga County in Cleveland, Ohio. Currently, Ms. Hoffman is the coordinator and supervisor for inpatient clinical trials at CNS Network’s clinical research unit within Del Amo Hospital in Torrance, CA.
Denise Stephens, LMFT
Rater Manager
Ms. Stephens is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with a Master of Arts in Clinical Psychology from Pepperdine University. She is currently working towards her doctoral degree at Fielding Graduate University. Over the past 15 years, she has been a clinical and neurocognitive rater for clinical trials with an emphasis on Schizophrenia, Bipolar Disorder, depression, and memory disorders. In her current role as Rater Manager, she is responsible for overseeing clinical raters, providing ongoing clinical training, assessing patients for eligibility to participate in clinical trials, as well as conducting primary efficacy and safety assessments throughout the course of trials. Ms. Stephens also coordinates with various departments at CNS Network to ensure ratings related responsibilities are performed. Previously at CNS Network, she was a study coordinator, in which she supervised various phase II-VI clinical trials ranging from Schizophrenia, insomnia, and cognitive impairment.
Prior to CNS Network, Ms. Stephens was Program Director at Aspen Education Group, where she interfaced with community services, filled staff vacancies, and was awarded a contract from the Los Angeles Department of Mental Health/Los Angeles County of Probation in which she managed over $2 million in funds.
Kim Lorine, PhD
Senior Clinical Rater
Dr. Lorine is a Licensed Psychologist, who earned her PhD in Clinical Psychology at the California School of Professional Psychology in Los Angeles. She is currently Senior Clinical Rater at both CNS Network offices in Torrance and Garden Grove, CA. She is responsible for evaluating patients for eligibility to participate in clinical trials, performing study-related clinical and neuropsychological assessments, and providing training and supervision to clinical raters and testers. In addition to clinical assessments, she conducts analyses of post-clinical trial data as part of CNS Network’s ongoing internal quality review of clinical and neurocognitive ratings.
Dr. Lorine’s prior clinical experience includes conducting neuropsychological assessments at UCLA in the Neurology Department, Alzheimer’s Disease Research Center, as well as assessment and psychotherapy with children, adolescents, and adults in a variety of clinical settings ranging from inpatient psychiatric facilities to outpatient mental health clinics for a variety of psychiatric conditions.
Erica O’Brien, MSW
Senior Study Coordinator
Ms. O’Brien earned her Master of Social Work at San Diego State University and has been a staff member with CNS Network for over three years as a study coordinator. Currently, Ms. O’Brien is a Senior Study Coordinator responsible for supervising a team of coordinators for various phase II and III trials that include depression, Bipolar Disorder, and Schizophrenia disorders. Previously, she worked as a social worker and case manager throughout Southern California and Denver, Colorado.
Anne Cabral, MA
Senior Study Coordinator
Ms. Cabral earned her Master of Arts in Clinical Psychology from Pepperdine University. She previously worked as a Senior Behavioral Therapist with Autistic children and a research assistant at the University of California, Irvine. As a study coordinator at CNS Network, Ms. Cabral has experience in both inpatient and outpatient psychiatric clinical trials. She currently is a Senior Study Coordinator where she supervises the coordination of various neurology trials.
Anna Zikranova, BS
Senior Outreach Coordinator
Ms. Zikranova received her Bachelor of Science in Biology at the University of California, Los Angeles and has experience in various roles at CNS Network ranging from research assistant, study coordination and community outreach liaison. Currently, Ms. Zikranova is the Senior Outreach Coordinator for both Torrance and Garden Grove sites of CNS Network. She supervises outreach coordinators in the marketing, recruitment and assimilation of new and returning patients. She oversees the completion of psychiatric and neurological evaluations for potentially qualified candidates for all active clinical trials. Previously, Ms. Zikranova was a research assistant at the UCLA School of Nursing ad Arthur Ashe Wellness Center of UCLA, assisting with phase II cervical cancer vaccine trials. She has also worked as a surgical assistant in the research of new techniques for the treatment of myocardial infarction at the Cardio-Thoracic Lab at UCLA.
Ms. Theodore holds a Master’s degree in Health Administration from California State University, Long Beach and a Bachelor’s degree in Education from the University of Kansas. Ms. Theodore has over 15 years of experience in the healthcare industry. Her experience includes business development for behavioral health organizations, clinical research centers and medical professionals, as well as direct service in hospital settings. Ms. Theodore has performed analyses of health systems, developed new customer relationships for sales teams, built and maintained a sales pipeline, and assisted in the growth of start-up and expanding companies.
Amber Harris, BA
Quality Assurance Coordinator
Ms. Harris graduated from the University of California, Irvine with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology. She began at CNS Network as a Research Assistant assisting with patient screening and recruitment. Prior to her current role as QA Coordinator, she was a study coordinator for various studies ranging from depression to Schizophrenia. As QA Coordinator, she reviews clinical data and helps to ensure compliance with CNS Network standards as well as state and federal regulations.
April Johnson, MS
Senior Regulatory Coordinator
Ms. Johnson received her Master of Science in Kinesiology at California State University, Northridge. She supervises the regulatory department in the management and conduct of clinical trials in compliance with FDA regulations and ICH guidelines. Ms. Johnson has several years of experience within Phase I – IV clinical research in a variety of therapeutic areas. She previously worked as a clinical research coordinator for orthopedic studies, as a regulatory compliance coordinator for cardiovascular studies and most recently in clinical project management for central nervous system studies.
Kelsey Chittick, BA
Senior Field Outreach Coordinator
Ms. Chittick earned her Bachelor of Arts in Communications and Psychology at the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill. She began her career in marketing at Easter Seals in New York City, where she continued on to become their Director of Development. Ms. Chittick also previously worked for Johnson and Johnson as a pharmaceutical sales representative in their Primary Care division. While at Johnson and Johnson she was part of the Management Development Programs and on-key marketing and planning teams. For the past four years, Ms. Chittick has been a Senior Sales Representative at Janssen, which is Johnson and Johnson’s psychiatric and neurological sales force.
